Your mission

We're searching for a DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in building, scaling, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring our systems are highly available, performant, and secure. You'll play a key part in developing and managing our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) codebase, creating 'Golden Copy' templates for environments, managing the scaling of asynchronous backend tasks, and enhancing our CI/CD pipelines across diverse projects.

Job description

  • Manage and optimize Service infrastructure for scalability and performance. Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure applications are designed for scalability, reliability, and ease of deployment.

  • Orchestrate and manage the scaling of various asynchronous backend tasks and services.

  • Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (Datadog).

  • Establish and enforce a centralized, version-controlled "golden copy" repository for all essential configurations, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates, and deployment pipelines across the organization's entire service landscape.

  • Implement and uphold security best practices.

  • Manage and optimize our Kubernetes clusters, ensuring smooth operation and efficient resource utilization.

  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement, evaluating and recommending new technologies.

Your profile

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.

  • Solid, hands-on experience with AWS services.

  • Good understanding of networking specifically within AWS (VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups).

  • Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably CloudFormation.

  • Proven experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies, specifically GitLab CI/Pipeline.

  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash).

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, with a preference for Datadog.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems.

  • Experience working in a startup environment and adapting to its fast-paced, agile nature.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    Additional Skills That Are a Plus:

    • Experience with serverless architectures.

    • Knowledge of other cloud providers (Azure, GCP).

    • Relevant AWS certifications.

    • Experience with Graph Databases (Property Grapf/RDF)
